Ache

My heart aches, within
A deep longing, deep in
For someone
to share, to hold, just one
to love, to cherish, just one
For her,
to hold me close,
to share her fears,
tears,
years,
just one.

Tale of two Friends

Tale of two friends

You live in a bottle,

In a space, with walls so brittle,

In your own space,

Close to those you cherish

So close you can touch them,

Close enough to feel their heart beat,

Close enough to cool them in the heat,

Close enough not to take a hit,

Close enough to walk away,

You live with a thief,

Subtle and at time wise

Teaching you pain to despise

The brittleness steals

Hides beauty underneath

The brittleness protects

The tenderness beneath

The brittleness keeps

Your allies out

Pain me and many more,

Cast out the thief

Embrace it all

The joy and grief

Embrace me; I AM

Cast out the brittle

Leave the bottle

Live with me

Live in me

Live through me

Live free from the law

Genie in a bottle.

Warm Inside

I feel warm inside,

I smile and I smile again,

I feel like am beside,

My self with joy.

I feel warm inside,

Like someone just lit a fire,

And now the cold’s outside.

I feel warm inside,

As if the sun just rose ‘pon me,

After night and dawn collide.

I feel warm inside,

As I travel west-ward,

I decide,

To ask,

Will you go with me west?

Will you hold my hand?

Will you write my name in your heart?

And be my very own constellation?

Sin titulo

The past was once the present

The future will one time be the past

You and I were once a flower

In full bloom and beauty

Now we too; are part of the past

Gone and buried in time

Now I hold you in my arms

And I wish I’d hold you forever

Hold you tomorrow and the day after

And the day after and the day after

Now I kiss your lips

Gently over and over again

I feel your breath on my face

The very life in you the life in me too

Now,now is then

You are no longer here now

And you won’t be tomorrow

Tomorrow is now today

And tomorrow is not today

As we saw it time never said this would happen

Maybe it did and we just didn’t listen.

tears fall

So it fell,

Flake after flake,

It sat in layers,

Layer after Layer,

Underneath were the warm,

Underneath were the once alive,

Dreams, Hopes,

Dream after Dream,

Hope after Hope,

What we planted in spring,

In the sun, In the light

Now covered by coldness,

By frost and Ice.

Layer after Layer.

So tears fall, fall for the dreams that will

Never see the light of day,

Tears fall
