Your perfect fifths and major sevenths,

We’ve been walking for long,

You ancient walking stick,

I’ve leaned on you,

On your fragile frame,

Inscribed on you,

my fears and years.

Now I can’t hum anymore,

I can’t lead anymore,

At times i miss it…

Me recuerdo

I remember your hands, soft and beautiful,

they fit into mine,

I remember your eyes, large and lovely,

they say it’ll be fine,

I remember your skin, soft , brown and beautiful,

it touched mine,

I remember your hips n oh your lips,

how well they’d fit into mine,

I remember your hair, short and neat,

a lot like mine, well except for neat..
