smell of rain
i find it hard to explain,
the beauty inside,
the glow of your faith,
the scent of you,
the warmth of your breath,
the softness of your skin,
the wetness of your lips,
the intricacy of our intimacy,
its something like the smell of rain

i like the way u’ve moved from one way of describing what u perceive, from the outside to the inside. it’s deep and sexxy
..radical…
That’s a fantastic poem, the last two lines are superb. She really comes alive in the poem. I think you’re poetry is getting better and better and this is one of my favourites.

I found your work through Paul. I’m so glad, Ngetha.
It sure doesn’t sound like you “find it hard to explain.” This is such a precious invitation into your sensitivity and your capacity for very awake intimacy. Bless your heart.
Its still a bit hard to explain from time to time..thank you
